11 Thoughts Of A College Student

Many thoughts go through the minds of college students, many unsaid, many told and probably some that should not be said and some that should be.

Here are 11.

1. Please forget about the homework, please.

There are just those days sometimes where we forgot to do the homework or left it in the car or back in our room, and just that one day, a professor needs to forget we had an assignment.

2. Do you think they will notice if the line spacing is 2.3 instead of doubled?

Chances are, they will. But oh well.

3. Should I go to class?

4. Is it totally acceptable to not leave my bed today and just not exist?

5. Change the exam date to a later date, or just cancel the exam.

Exams are the worst, especially if you have more than one on the same day.

6. Is dropping out still an option?

Homework, work, classes, exams, sports--it's all too stressful sometimes.

7. Do you think anyone would notice if I went to class in what I slept in?

8. What made me think classes before 11 were a good idea?

9. Maybe the cafe will have good food today..

Most likely, you thought wrong.

10. OMG I'm in bed before 2 a.m.!!!!

All the stresses of college usually don't somewhat disappear until well past midnight..

11. What day is it? Is it almost Friday?

It's actually Sunday.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
