11 Things You Forgot Happened In 2015.

A lot can happen in a year and it's nearly impossible to remember all of it, here's a quick recap of some of the most noteworthy events that occurred in 2015 that may have slipped your mind.

1. The Dress.

Did you see black and blue or white and gold? I regret even having to think about this again even though we can all agree that the dress is black and blue.

2. KAYNE 2020.

The fact that Kayne announced that he plans to run for president in the 2020 election... while at the VMA's.

3. Back To The Future Day.

October 21, 2015, the day "Back To the Future" was no longer a movie about what the future could be, we are the future, we are living in the future and I am so disappointed with the lack of flying cars.

4. Netflix and Chill.

The anthem of our generation for the majority of 2015.

5. Unbreakable.

A Netflix original that became one of the most popular shows in what basically felt like overnight.

6. Gay marriage was legalized.

You probably didn't forget about this but it was one of the finer moments had in 2015 which makes is pretty noteworthy.

7. Adele.

You might have forgotten a little about Adele in the beginning of 2015 but she certainly became a household name again through her hit song, "Hello."

8. The dancing sharks at the Super Bowl.

How could anyone forget about Left Shark's moment to shine.

9. Zayn left One Direction.

Even if you claim not to know who Zayn is odds are someone you know was devastated by Zayn's decision.

10. Leonardo DiCaprio won an oscar... just kidding that did not happen... again.

11. The announcement of "Fuller House."

Now we also have a release date for the series! (February 26th FYI).

Let's hope that Netflix and Chill doesn't make a comeback in 2016.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
