11 Things That Happen When You Come Home For The Summer

While coming home for the summer to a fully-stocked kitchen and your pets may seem like a dream at first, suddenly you are bombarded with constant chores, work, and run-ins with people from your past. Suddenly you wish you were back in your dorm with your friends and your freedom, away from your hometown horrors.

You find lists of chores waiting for you when you wake up.

Sleeping in every morning is a dream come true.

You finally get to reunite with old friends.

All of a sudden, you’re bombarded with questions about school.

The fridge is fully-stocked and home-cooked meals are no longer a thing of the past.

Your Netflix addiction becomes 10 times worse than it already was.

You’re either stuck working a summer job or being bored at home without one.

You’re greeted by your favorite furry friend.

You try your best to keep your cool when you run into your high school ex.

You start to experience major FOMO for basically all of your friends’ vacations.
