Little sisters are the best and the worst. They can drive you crazy or make you laugh until you cry. Even if they’re younger than you, they somehow teach you small things every time you’re together. A relationship with your sisters is one of the most important you'll ever hold. It's important to cherish everything they bring to your life.

1. Never take life too seriously.

When you’re stressing over small stuff, it’s your younger sisters that are going to brighten up your day and remind you that you need to enjoy life. Laughing is the best medicine to help you appreciate and enjoy life.

2. Sing, as loudly and badly as you can.

If you’re like me, your little sisters cannot and will not stop singing to save their lives. Pop stations are their favorite, and dancing also ensues. At some point, you have to join in.

3. Be patient.

They are going to drive you insane. You might think they’re being immature or annoying, but you have to remember that you were probably just like that at their age. This will follow through life, from coworkers to your own children.

4. Everyone is different, even those you share your DNA with.

It sort of reminds you how special every individual is when you see how different you are from your own flesh and blood. They’re perfect in their own way, and so are you.

5. Sister secrets are strong.

Sorry, moms. Sisters have secrets, and they keep us close.

6. Sometimes you have to call them out.

You always want to back up your sisters, but sometimes they’re not really in the right. It’s your job to steer them in the right direction and watch over them, making sure they do the right thing.

7. Honesty is important.

They always say little kids have no filter, and it’s usually true. That can get them into trouble sometimes, but it still shows you how important it is to be real with those around you.

8. Sometimes people are sensitive.

Because you are older, you have to make sure you watch what you say in front of your younger sisters, especially when you are mad. They teach you to be careful of people’s feelings.

9. Don’t be scared to look goofy in life.

Little sisters can be the most embarrassing people and put you in the most embarrassing situations in your life. Instead of getting upset, they teach you to own it and enjoy the moment. Time with them is so important, and there’s no reason to be worried about what other people think when you’re with your family.

10. You’ve always got a fan base to root you on.

They are your number one fans and always will be. No matter where you are in life, you never feel alone because you know they are there. They remind you to be the same way towards others and cheer them on just as well as your sisters do.

11. Life wouldn’t be as interesting without them.

Admit it. Life would be incredibly boring without them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
