There are just some things your friend knows right away. You may call it chance or luck, but for me it's THE LOOK. This look is enough for your best friend to know whether to shower you in hugs or run away with the wind. It's only gained through years of experience, but here's 11 things your best friend knows in just one look.

1. Who just walked into the door.

Whether it's your best friend or your enemy, your friends will know exactly who it is in just one simple look.

2. If the food the waiter is carrying is yours.

It may seem ridiculous, but you know when your friend's eyes get as big as globes that you're about to dig into some great food.

3. Similar to the above look, when your friend notices a cute guy walking by.

If he's model-worthy, her eyes may get just as large as when she saw the food.

4. When you feel super uncomfortable.

Only a best friend has the ability to spot the sheer panic in your eyes that alerts them to save you ASAP.

5. When you just got major gossip/news.

While your eyes may not give you away, the shit-eating grin may give your friends a hint.

6. When you need an escape plan.

It's finally time to escape the conversation you never wanted to be part of in the first place. Cue the BFF creating an emergency to rescue you.

7. When you're in desperate need of a caffeine/wine fix.

Because, if the situation is bad enough, these drinks may be interchangeable.

8. When you receive bad news.

That slight quiver in your chin is enough for the BFF to know that you need tissues and Ben & Jerry's immediately.

9. When you're mad.

We're not talking a simple disagreement here, but the major "I'm not going to talk to you again after this if you don't stop talking to me right now" look.

10. When you're just done.

You're absolutely exhausted and cannot deal with life, but just want to hang out with your best friend moment.

11. When you're reunited.

The best look because you know you have a while to gossip, cry, chat, and laugh about everything that's happened since the last time you saw your BFF.

So shout out to all the best friends out there who keep us sane in these crazy moments. We love you long time.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
