A good memory is one of the most advantageous tools a person can have, giving them the ability to recall information and details from past events, experiences, reading pieces, lectures, speeches, etc. This tool can come in handy in just about every situation imaginable, but if you weren't one of the few blessed with even a halfway decent memory, daily life can be a bit of a drag. These 11 struggles hardly do justice to the mass of confusion that us memory-less folk experience.
1. Where did I park?
If you're like me, this is an everyday question.
2. Have you seen my keys?
3. Sh*t, we had homework today???
As everyone else turns in their homework.
4. Where am I going...
5. Did I leave my windows down? *torrential rain pour*
Or if you live in the Midwest, you leave them down in the middle of a snow storm. Why, you ask, would my windows be down in the middle of winter? I have no idea.
6. Where the heck are all of my clothes?
And then you check the laundry room and realize you washed them last week. Get it together brain.
7. Cups... everywhere
Cups in the bathroom, cups in the living room, cups on the deck, so many cups in my room. Maybe it's laziness, maybe I like cups, maybe I can't remember what I had in what cup in what room, I have no idea.
8. *Parents come home* SH*TTTT *scampers to vacuum, do dishes, take garbage out*
9. Plant lover but horrible mother
If you manage to kill a cactus, it's time to give up. *reminder to myself*
10. "You never texted me back..." "...I forgot"
Your friends and family just come to accept it.
