School is starting once again and that means that many of us are going to be separated from our significant other.
Whether you go to separate schools 30 minutes away or eight hours away; it's always difficult trying to keep the relationship alive when you're both so far away and busy. Long Distance relationships are hard, so I decided to ask some college students what hey love to use with their significant other to keep in touch when they go back to school. Here are 11 apps, sites, and even gadgets that you can use with your long distance love.
1. Rabb.it
A website where you can watch movies and play games similtanously while still video chatting one another is a site that really helps long distance couples intereact with one another.
2. Avocado
An app where only you and your partner can see and never have to worry about other people seeing it. It has lists, chats, and even fun activities
3. Qupid
This one is similar to Avocado, but the cool thing about this app is that it features something called lovebuzz. Basically you can let your partner know you're thinking about them and they will see it when they get on.
4. Heytell
I know that texting all the time when you're in a long distance relationship can get bland and boring, that's why this walkie talkie app that lets you send voice messages would spice it up.
5. Whatsapp
If your significant other studies or moved to another country this app is perfect for communicating with them.
6. Skype
Always have to video chat when you live hundreds of miles away from one another, and Skype is the perfect place to do it.
7. Touch room
An app that you can feel your partners hand. If you touch the same place on your phones then it buzzes making it seem like as if you're actually touching.
8. Intimate
This is an app strictly for an andriod user. Though it's currently down as they are working to make the app better. This is similar to Avocado but here you can share fingerkisses and even send one another love notes.
9. The Taion Heart
It links to a wristband that your partner is wearing and it transmits to you their heartbeat. The heart can mimic heartbeats, warm up, or show different colors from inside.
10. Pillow Talk
If you have difficulty sleeping without your partner this pillow tracks your partners heartbeat and sends it to you.
11. Kayak
It's always good to plan when you are going to see one another, so keep this flight site in mind when you're planning your next visit.
