11 Thank You's For My Best Friends
FAVIM

My best friends are the ones I would lie for, cry for, and take a bullet and straight up die for.

1. Thank you for making me laugh:

I’ll be the first admit that I have a dry sense of humor. But when I’m with my best friends we have the same weird sense of humor. We don’t even have to say anything and can laugh for an extended period of time. If anyone can make me laugh, it’s them.

2. Thank you for being my go-to:

It doesn’t matter what the situation is, whether it’s having a mental breakdown, read something funny, or saw the cutest guy; I know you will pick up the phone. You never fail to hear what I have to say

3.Thank you for not judging me:

If we’re going to be honest, I say and do some things that I shouldn’t sometimes. I’m a little blunter then I need to be, and a little judgmental myself, but you love me anyways.

4. Thank you for always being honest with me:

It seems like nowadays, people are inclined to lie to you, because they don’t want to hurt your feelings. But with you, I don’t need to worry about being fed fabricated words. You tell me how it is. I appreciate your honesty more than I may show.

5. Thank you for binge-watching TV with me:

Binge-watching has led to some great memories. It has also lead to some great TV shows I may not have started if it wasn’t for you. It’s not every day I can sit and binge Grey’s Anatomy, Parks and Recreation, or American Horror Story. But with you we always find time to binge and bond.

6. Thank you for being you:

I’m crazy. You’re crazy. So I guess that’s why we’re best friends. I love it because you keep our friendship interesting, and full of laughter.

7. Thank you for the adventurous lifestyle:

There are too many memories to recollect of just how adventurous we are. I wouldn’t trade any crazy stunts that we’ve done for any dull boring memories. Being spontaneous leads to the best adventures, and the fondest laughter’s.

8. Thank you for being my rock:

When things get crazy, I know I can always turn to you, and count on you to be there for me. You’re honest to the point, it can be harsh at times, but will always tell me what I need to hear, and not just what I want to hear. Not many people will do that for someone.

9. Thank you for making so many ordinary moments, extraordinary:

Sometimes the most ordinary things can be made extraordinary, just by experiencing it with my best friends.

10. Thank you for knowing when something is wrong with me:

You are there to notice when I may be down on myself. An incredible thing happens when we pay close attention to each other. You have helped me heal, even sometimes before I have begun to hurt. A best friend is someone who sees the pain in my eyes while everyone else still believes the smile on my face.

11. Thank you for always sticking around and being my best friends:

Any form of relationship isn’t going to come easy. Like anyone else, friendships have their ups and downs. Some break, and some stick it out. You’re my best friends because our arguments didn’t break us. Being in each other’s lives have meant more to us than a simple argument. I don’t know if I can ever thank you for being there, and just realize you play a huge role in my life, that I will forever be grateful for.

I love you, and thank you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
