11 Summer Struggles As Told By The Cast of Big Brother 18

Oh, summertime. A time for relaxation, travel and...CBS's hit reality show Big Brother. Now the house guests of Big Brother 18 might be stuck in the house until September but, we out here have to deal with the struggles that come with the summer months, and here are 18 of them.

1. Your favorite hot drinks are suddenly just too hot to drink in 90 degree weather, but you still crave them. (The good news? There's iced coffee, iced tea...basically the chilled equivalent of any drink you could want.)

2. When you think your day is going to be eventful because it's summer but it falls short and you end up doing nothing.

3. When your friend is showing you all the pictures from their vacation somewhere amazing and exotic, and you haven't been out of town in a month.

4. Wearing cute dresses out in public, then havning a creepy old man to try to hit on you.

5. When you come home from vacation and don't want to put your luggage away so you procrastinate in any way possible.

6. Lines are longer. For everything, everywhere. People are out of school, on vacation and ready to make sure that you are gonna wait that extra ten minutes for your ice cream.

7. Wondering if it's worth it to go outside when you could sit inside in the air conditioning.

8. When you just got out of the water at the beach and the sand is sticking to any available skin.

9. Trying to budget for the whole summer knowing that you'll probably go three times over the limit you allow yourself.

10. When people don't understand your appetite fluctuations because it's just too hot to eat three heavy meals a day!

11. Sweat ruining your makeup or just making you overall oily.

Definitely not a good look.

While we deal with these very unpleasant summer struggles, you can watch the house guests of Big Brother battle it out for 500k on CBS every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday night!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
