For a person who has no filter, myself included, words just fly out of your mouth with little thought. To friends who are close to you, this can just be a minor tick, but to others, you may come off as a bitch. But who needs those closed-minded homosapiens anyway? Not I and not you.
1. People think you are a bitch.
It happens. Some people are, and some people are honest. Honesty is not bitchy in my opinion.
2. Your loose mouth can be a source of entertainment.
Get your mind out the gutters, you freaks. Since you do not have a filter, anything—and I mean anything—comes out of your mouth. Swears, sexual innuendoes, all that good stuff.
3. Your loose mouth can be a source of offendedness.
Offendedness? Not a word, but you get the gist. Sometimes you may step a tad over the line, and this can lead to some awkward situations.
4. People are afraid to bring you around others.
I cannot count how many times my friends have told me to watch what I say when meeting a new person. They are on the edge of their seat when I am talking.
5. Honesty.
If you ask me if you look bad in those bell-bottomed pants, and you look bad, I will tell you. Unless you pissed me off because then I am going to love being in public with your goofy looking ass.
6. Am I serious or joking?
Nine times out of 10, I am being sarcastic. But you never know when that one time is coming.
7. Dates are hard.
How do you expect me to talk to you about our hopes and dreams for an hour and a half and not say something stupid?
8. People look to you for comedic relief.
Hold on one second, let me pull out my book of jokes from my back pocket to entertain you people. I am not a zoo animal—back off, you leeches.
9. People may be put off by your willingness to be open.
I'm not going to shy away from talking to you about life experiences. So buckle up buddy, it's going to be a funny ride.
10. Meeting another person with no filter is the best!
My best friend and I are obnoxious, and it makes everyone else in the room uncomfortable.
11. You become a master of retracting what you said.
When you realize you have offended someone, you find a way to circle it back and take the comment in another direction. I wish I could put that on my resume.
