So, you went through a bad breakup. You swore that boy, Chad from Theta Apple Pie, your McDreamy, was going to be The One. Then, things didn't go your way. Before you binge-watch Netflix and hold your best friends, Ben & Jerry, a little closer than before, here's fourteen struggles of getting over The Boy You Swear You'll Never Get Over.

1. You start to think you'll never find love again...ever

Because no one will love you like he did.

2. All of your friends seem to be surrounded with happiness and love and you begin to hate them just a little

We know you make your relationship look nice for Twitter, Rachel.

3. You try to get back out there, but then it's harder than you think

But maybe that's because you're comparing every guy you meet to him.

4. Because dating again went so poorly, you decide to resort to alcohol

Moscato will never break your heart. Moscato doesn't cheat, or lie and say they'll never leave you.

5. Because you resorted to alcohol, you consider, in your fuzzy state, to go visit McDreamy and tell him how you really feel

Pick me, choose me, love me.

6. You see McDreamy being happy with someone else, and the self-loathing starts all over again

You had your chance! You should have told him!

7. You start to wonder if you're the problem

8. Because you conclude that you are the problem, you give up altogether

Overeating and crying, anyone?

9. Your friends eventually pull you from the rut

With nothing other than dance parties and wine, of course

10. McDreamy will come back begging, because boys always do

Don't give in. The puppy dog eyes are a trap.

11. You find love with someone else, and forget McDreamy was ever McDreamy in the first place

And you will live happily ever after.
