Most people think that spring break is just about going on fun vacations. Instead, it can be whatever you make of it. Whether you want to relax, or find something to do, there's plenty of ways to enjoy spring break without spending tons of cash on a vacation!
1. Learn something new!
We all have something we’ve always wanted to try but never have. You now have a week to learn whatever it is that you’re interested in. Side note: I still want to learn how to knit, that will be what I’ll learn over spring break.
2. Visit your friends at their schools.
It’s fun to visit friends who you don’t get to see often. You get to experience their schools and have fun.
3. Binge on Netflix
Although some of us do this no matter what, myself included, it’s still great to catch up on those shows that we have to miss out on during the week.
4. Go to a Paint Bar Night.
Regardless of spring break, this is a must try at some point in your life. Grab some friends and make a reservation for a night at a local Paint Bar. I promise you won’t regret it.
5. Visit a pet store.
Make sure it’s one that has puppies. Because honestly who doesn’t want to play with puppies. Spring break is all about relieving stress so I believe this would be considered pet therapy. Just saying.
6. Try that restaurant that you’ve been dying to go into.
There’s always new restaurants popping up, and some types may even be out of your comfort zone, but it never hurts to try. You may surprise yourself.
7. Pick up some shifts at work
So this one may be considered fun, or maybe not for some people. But if you are like myself, halfway through the semester I desperately need more money. Break is a perfect time to pick up some shifts and make some extra cash before you go back to school.
8. Take up a DIY project
Download the app Pintrest, if you don’t have it already. It’s chalk full of DIY projects, either small or large.
9. Take a shopping trip.
Maybe this one is just me, but considering how nice the weather has been, it’s time to stock up on new spring clothes. Just be sure not to spend all your money.
10. Exercise
Now I know I dread this one for sure, but it has to be done. Spring break is the perfect time to try out a new workout. Bring a fried along, some gyms even let you buy a day pass.
11. Relax
Some days are meant for just lying in bed, doing absolutely nothing. Spring break is all about regaining strength right? I will sure to be take advantage of this one.
