There comes a point in the semester that everyone reaches where they just can't keep motivated anymore. With only about a month left of school, it is nearly impossible to stay on task of your work, meetings, plans: pretty much anything that you should be doing. I'm almost positive any college student can relate.
1. You cringe at the amount of homework you're assigned.
Why, professor, must you assign more homework this week than you have all semester?
2. But you still procrastinate until the last minute.
10 page paper due Monday morning at 8:00? If I start at midnight on Sunday I'll have enough time to finish and earn a decent "C" paper. C's get degrees, right?
3. ...Which makes you feel even more overwhelmed.
While you're procrastinating you constantly think how overwhelming your work is becoming, yet you still continue to procrastinate.
4. Your bank account barely exists.
Welp, I guess the the $20 mom gave me after break will have to last me the rest of the semester.
5. Your notes look more like doodles.
When your friends miss class and ask you for your notes, you laugh because there is nothing but random shapes and hearts in your notebook. You just don't have the attention span to follow along in lectures anymore, so might as well look productive by doodling in your notebook.
6. You fight the urge to skip class daily.
...or maybe you don't and just skip class anyways. I mean, do I really need to learn about Socrates being accused of corrupting the youth?
7. You have a count down to summer.
Admit it, you've had one for months now. You're just more public about it now that summer's only a month away.
8. Binging on Netflix becomes more and more of a priority.
Because Meredith Greys' life has been, and always will be, 10x more interesting than mine.
9. Home-sickness is at an all time high.
Okay, whatever, you were just home like two weeks ago but you still can't wait to be in your comfy bed, not doing hours of homework, and hanging out with friends instead.
10. You can't get summer off of your mind.
Daydreaming about the sunny summer days and long summer nights has become part of your daily routine.
11. Everything.
Seriously, though. You just can't do the whole "school thing" anymore.
