Redoing parts of your makeup to get it just right.

Yes, it absolutely does take me three tries to get the perfect winged eyeliner. So worth it when it's all done.

You're subscribed to or following beauty accounts.

Michelle Phan, Nikki Tutorials, and Jeffree Star are all names you have come to know and love. If it weren't for them and other beauty gurus you would not be capable of attaining the level of makeup awesomeness that you have somewhat achieved.

Accounting for the time it takes you to fix your mistakes when deciding what time to start doing your makeup.

Well, it'll take me a while to get my lashes and lipstick up to standard. I also mess up on my brows at least twice. That'll add about half an hour.

Saving money strictly for a new palette.

This paycheck goes towards my Kylie Jenner Royal Peach palette and this next one goes towards the Naked Basics palette. It's not a problem, I can stop whenever I want!

Taking way too much makeup with you for travel.

Even if it's only a weekend trip, you have to bring every single palette you own. You know... for choices.

When you have achieved the perfect look and absolutely dread taking it off at night.

That dreadful time when the makeup wipes have to come out and the makeup to come off. Say goodbye to all of the fleekiness. Tragic.

Getting too excited when you buy something new.

It doesn't matter what you have going on tonight, you have to put on that new highlight you just purchased.

Your email is 80% beauty retailers.

Important business emails? You mean the fact that I get a free lipgloss with my Sephora purchase of $50 or more? Yup. Very business. Very important. *furiously begins online shopping*

Always experimenting with colors.

Trying to replicate the fierce looks of the Instagram community and sometimes going a little too far. Maybe the blue lipstick wasn't the best idea for a meeting with my professor...

Finding excuses to do a full face of makeup.

The grocery store? Okay, just give me like two and a half hours to get ready.

You're trying something new every time you do your makeup.

New contour technique, cut crease for the first time. That's the beauty of makeup: always experimenting and figuring out what makes you feel like you. Now, go out there and try to make all of the beauty gurus proud!!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
