11 Signs That You Are In a Long Term Relationship
The Odyssey Online

Having since spent the last few days with Laura Cossette, my good friend for a number of years (even that is an inside joke that would take too long to explain), we thought it would be apt to talk about the perks of being in a long-term relationship. Honestly, we were just guessing, but we'd like to think we got sort of close!

1. When you see new couples out in public and you feel 85 years old

2. When calling them by their name is weirder than whatever gross nickname you have for one another

Some of the grossest/cutest I've heard are: Honey Bunches of Oats, Honey Bear, Boo Boo Bear, Love Eyes, and the weiderst, Love.

3. The moment you know that they need you to back them up

4. Or when you can charge into a fight and they’d be right behind you throwing punches

5. Someone asks them a personal question and you respond with the right answer without really thinking about it

My Mom to SO: So when do you go abroad?

Me: September 14th.

6. When you are the only person in the world that can get them to put down that 30th piece of candy

7. Or when you are actually happy to share your Chipotle burrito with them…sometimes

8. When you both respond to something at the same time, the same way, and in perfect harmony, making you feel like this

9. When they see that you are feeling less than, and they know exactly what to do and say to make everything right in the world again

10. When Netflix and chill means actually snuggling up in sweat pants under a blanket and re-watching that one show you’ve both seen a 1,000 times

11. When there is no one on earth that you’d rather have by your side on your worst day

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
