There is nothing more satisfying than powering through a TV series on Netflix. I would even venture to say that successfully binge watching five seasons of a series may even better your health. OK maybe that is a little far-fetched and I may just be kidding myself, but even the small accomplishments are worth celebrating right? Here are 11 TV series on Netflix that you should have already binge watched by now.

1. "Scandal"

It goes without saying that anything created by Shonda Rhimes will effectively ruin your life from the moment you press play (but we do it anyways, because we love the way it hurts). Really any of her shows could and should be on this list. Yet I think your next heart pumping thriller series should be "Scandal." Olivia Pope is about as BA as it gets. She basically keeps Washington DC from falling apart at the seams while looking on point simultaneously. Not only is Kerry Washington amazing as the lead all her costars are extremely impressive as well.

Watch this if you are looking for a rebound after "Grey's Anatomy."

2. "Young and Hungry"

Lily from "Hannah Montana" is all grown up and I couldn't be happier about it. I am the first one to say I am tired of all the new and random sitcom shows popping up on ABC Family these days, but this one is a show I am willing to watch over and over (and over). A chef named Gabby (Emily Osmet) gets a job working for a 30-something tech genius. There, she works with a wonderfully sassy publicist named Elliot and the house cleaner Yolanda. The three make a truly funny trio and I promise you will find yourself laughing only a few minutes in.

Watch this if you are in need of light-hearted laughter and a cute love story.

3. "Reign"

This is the dramatic period drama you have been searching for. It's all about Queen Mary of Scots and her arranged engagement to the Prince of France...and how the English throne wants her dead...and how there is some slightly black magic stuff going down in the forest...oh, and did I mention the extremely dreamy half brother of the prince who may or may not also want Mary? I told you, it gets pretty dramatic. And if all the drama is not enough to pull you in, the gorgeous (yet slightly inaccurate) costumes will get you pressing play faster than your allotted fifteen seconds.

Watch if you are looking for a drama-filled blast from the past with a twist around every corner.

4. "Sherlock"

This one is for a special type of binge watcher out there. This is what I would refer to as the big leagues of binge watching. Each episode runs for about an hour and a half and each season has only about three or (if you are lucky) four episodes. Watching Sherlock will definitely require a lot of dedication and water breaks to be able to follow every dramatic twist and cliff hanger. Sherlock and Dr. Watson make an incredible duo and will be more than enough to make you dedicate your life to each 90 minute long episode.

Watch if you love anything with Benedict Cumberbatch.

5. "How I Met Your Mother"

Follow the story of how Ted meets his wife and the mother of his children over the span of nine seasons filled with playbooks, Canadian pop stars, slap bets and the perfect representation of what we all secretly hope our adult lives will be like. This is a great sitcom with a lot of episodes to keep you happy for a long time. It will have you laughing, crying then laughing again. 10/10 would watch again (and I have...twice...all the way through).

Watch when you have a long stretch of time to waste.

6. "Grand Hotel"

Forewarning: this show is all in Spanish (but do not fret there are English subtitles!). This is a must see though. Overly dramatic to say the least, it is a mystery thriller show with a lot of forbidden love and pretty people. All the best combinations. Talk about twists and turns around every corner and it is all in Spanish, which automatically makes everything a little more interesting.

Watch if you are looking for "Downton Abbey" with a twist.

7. "New Girl"

Not only is Zooey Deschanel everything I have ever wanted to be, so is this show. Jess has a pretty interesting life. She shares an apartment with three strange yet incredibly hilarious guys and she also has a supermodel best friend. All of this added together makes for ridiculous plot lines that will keep you laughing all season long.

Watch if you want to watch something that has the essence of "Will & Grace."

8. "Blue Bloods"

Crime shows are my favorite to watch with my family and this is by far one of my family's favorites. It's about a prominent police family, The Reagans, in New York City who will keep you interested through every episode. It's a classic crime series with many opportunities to guess the killer with the added twist of focusing on a family who is incredibly tight knit, having you wish you were a crime fighting Reagan before the end of the first episode.

Watch if you are into crime dramas like "Law and Order."

9. "That 70's Show"

This is my most current choice for a good binge watching session. It’s a hilarious throwback to the '70s which is not only my favorite time period, but my favorite time in fashion history. The pants. The sport suits. The hair….OK back to the show, it is all about a group of friends in high school having a good time. You will fall in love with the characters quickly and don’t worry there are plenty of seasons to get you through a long week.

Watch for a hilarious blast from the past.

10. "Mixology"

This is a one season heart breaker. The entire season takes place over one night in an upscale bar in New York City. Each episode focuses on one couple and as the show progresses the connections between each character slowly emerge which keeps you dedicated all the way to the end. I can’t promise you won’t want to hate me after watching this since there is only one season. You will get attached to every little plot line and be totally invested. Trust me, the post season pain will be worth it.

Watch if you only have limited time to binge watch, but still need your fix of Netflix.

11. "Friends"

This show is at the end of this list for a very specific reason. "Friends" is the ultimate show to binge watch. Ten seasons following six friends with each episode full of actually funny lines and plots. I may be a little biased (as I have watched every episode five times), but if you are ready to experience the glorious feeling of getting to know Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey and Ross.

Watch if you are human and want to live life to the fullest.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
