Black Friday. For some, it's their favorite day of the year. Others know it's a day when they do not plan on leaving their house at all.

For retail workers, Black Friday brings on a whole new set of emotions, namely fear and dread. Here are 11 things every retail worker experiences on Black Friday.

1. You either had to work really late or get up really early

You might have even had to leave for work right after Thanksgiving dinner

2. Even you couldn't believe the great deal your store was having

70% off of everything??

3. Your anxiety started to grow as you look out the door and noticed the hordes of people waiting to get in

4. The doors finally opened and you mentally braced yourself

5. You can't believe how messy the store is within just 10 minutes

6. You're so busy helping customers tasks you don't even realize how tired you are

Even though it's 2 a.m.

7. You start to wonder is straightening up the store is even worth it

It's just going to get messy immediately

8. You finally get your break and wonder if there's any place you can hide and take a nap

9. The momentum of shoppers finally slows down and you get a chance to examine the carnage

10. You're finally allowed to go home to sleep for a few hours

It's probably around 6 a.m. at this point

11. Later that same day you're back at it

Ready to do it all over again?

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
