I’ve read a number of books over my lifetime but the one that has stuck with me recently is A Dog’s Purpose. I simply started reading this book to pass time but ended up finishing it in 24 hours, unable to put it down.

This book describes life from a dog’s perspective in the most charming and captivating manner. With every turn of the page I was laughing harder and smiling brighter. I was skeptical of how entertaining a book from a dog’s perspective could really be, but I was not disappointed. The author perfectly captures the stereotypical mindset of a dog, but with a heart wrenching twist. This story not only depicts a beautiful journey of an incredibly loyal dog, but teaches its readers a variety of applicable life lessons. Here are 11 reasons why you should read A Dog’s Purpose.
