The tree is trimmed, the stockings are hung and Santa is loading up his sleigh. Christmas is not only a time of tradition, tasty treats and holiday cheer: It is a time where we give, receive and help those in need. Christmas is not just about the glittery tinsel wrapped around the tree, or the shiny presents below it, it’s about the vibrant spirit of Christmas floating in the air, the love shared between friends and family, and the act of kindness spread to all. Christmas is the absolute best time of the year! It is a time where we focus on our relationships, share laughs and a few sprinkled cookies too.
When Christmas comes around, we all are guilty of acting like kids again. Whether it’s the sugar rush from one too many cups of hot coco and candy canes, or the warm fuzzy feeling we get in the pit of our stomach when we do a good deed, we all can be caught with rosy cheeks and happy hearts during this time of year. Whether you are 66 years old or six years old, you probably celebrate in at least one of the following ways:
1. You start off the holiday season by gathering your friends and family to decorate the tree, hang the lights and get into the holiday spirit.

2. You get a tad excited when it comes to planning out your holiday festivities because there’s just so much to do, and with enough sugary sweets you might just be able to do it all.
3. As soon as it is semi-appropriate, you have Christmas music on repeat for a month straight and you are most certainly not afraid to sing as loud as you possibly can.
4. When it comes to picking out gifts for your loved ones, you shop till you drop because love has no limits...
7. And if you have no significant other, you still have a furry sweater that will snuggle you endlessly and shopping; because shopping never fails.
9. You use any excuse to attend a festive holiday party, wear matching holiday outfits with your squad and have jolly good time.
10. Overall, christmas gives us that fuzzy feeling in our stomachs and we realize that it is much more than just a holiday and some twinkly lights and sparkly gifts underneath the tree, it is a state of mind that only true believers of the spirit of Christmas can see and it is with them that the love of Christmas and these endless traditions continue to live on.
11. Finally, when the day is near, we wait anxiously because the big man in the red suit is near and we can hardly contain our excitement!
No matter how you celebrate, Christmas is a time where joy is spread and love is shared and Christmas spirit is around every turn.
