"The Ranch" is a binge worthy netflix show that takes place in Garrison Colorado. It centers around the lives of two brothers Colt & Jameson who are trying to run the family Ranch along with their father Beau. Jameson, who's nickname is Rooster has always worked on the ranch with his father but Colt left to become a pro football star and failed. If you haven't checked it out yet, here's eleven reasons why you should. .
1. The Theme Song
The song is called "Don't Let Your Mama's Grow Up To Be Cowboys" by Lukas Nelson and Shooter Jennings. It's extremely catchy and you'll be singing along to it all twenty episodes.
2. They drink to everything
You can make it a drinking game yourself! Every time there is a beer in Colt or Rooster's hand, drink!
3. The brotherly love
Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher play brothers like they have known each their whole lives. They have amazing on screen chemistry. Of course, this does bring us back to all the time Hyde kicked Kelso's butt on "That 70's Show".
4. They're relatable
I swear everything that comes out of Beau's mouth will hit you deep in your soul.
5. The love triangle
When Colt comes back home after leaving for so long, he runs into his old girlfriend Abby. It turns out Abby has a serious boyfriend but Colt can't seem to let that go. He has to try to deal with it and tries to get over her by going out with other girls.
6. Maggie and Beau
Maggie and Beau may not have a perfect relationship but they do have an amazing friendship.
7. The guest stars
Wilmer Valderamma makes an appearance as Umberto in Part 2 of Season 1 making it an almost complete "That 70's Show" reunion.
8. It's unpredictable
Just when you think everything is going right.. something goes on fire.
9. They make fun of each other
Someone is always making fun of someone else on this show. Whether it be Beau making fun of Colt, or Colt making fun of Rooster. It's all love though.
10. The witty banter
This show is filled with witty banter which makes it more family like in my opinion.
11. The drama
Don't be fooled by the trailers, there are some extremely dramatic points. Even though most of them have only worked in comedies, every actor gives an amazing performance.
