We’ve all seen the #ZodiacTed trend online right now (if you haven’t, I highly recommend further research after this article). While the accusations may sound absurd, there are some pretty suspicious things that Mr. Cruz has yet to address. Republican, democrat or whatever else, do you really want a serial killer in the Oval Office? Just some food for thought.
1. The resemblance is a little uncanny
I mean, you could claim that the sketch looks like a lot of middle-aged white guys, but you know what Ted Cruz is? A middle-aged white guy.
2. No one has ever seen Ted Cruz and the Zodiac Killer in the same room
There could be lots of explanations for this. One of them just happens to be that they are the same person.
3. He hasn’t denied it
@jesseberney makes a good point. It’s refreshing to see a politician so hesitant to lie to the American people, though.
4. Everyone says so
If that many people believe it, there definitely might be some truth to it. After all, people don’t just go on the internet and lie.
5. Even Twitter says so
Like I said before, people don’t just go online and make stuff up.
6. Even his own daughters say so
Caroline’s first words could be interpreted in many ways. Maybe it was just baby talk. But we have to consider all our options here.
7. He’s Canadian
Not that all Canadians are mass murderers. But sometimes they can be a little too friendly. Makes you wonder if they’re hiding something.
8. In fact, his hometown is Calgary, Canada
The Zodiac Killer’s crimes took place in California, and he probably hated people named Gary.
9. The numbers add up just right
As of now (March 13, 2016), Cruz has won seven states. He also has two daughters. Seven minus two is five. The Zodiac Killer had five confirmed victims. It’s not that far of a leap.
10. Look at the counties where he’s been most successful
An interesting pattern has emerged.
11. His signature
If you squint and tilt your head to the left a little, it looks a whole lot like the word Zodiac.
