The new year has started, so the same resolutions you have had over the past few years are probably still waiting to be accomplished. There is always hope in the new year for you to actually keep up with your resolution(s) this time around, but most likely you’ll forget about your them as soon as February rolls around, if not sooner.
Here are eleven resolutions that we have all made in present or past New Years and probably never completed:
1. Get in shape.
Walking from your bed to the fridge counts, right?
2. Start eating healthy.
You realize pizza is life and there is no way in hell you're giving that up.
3. Learn to cook.
We all deserve a "real" meal, but microwavable food is easy, affordable, pretty delicious and won't burn down your apartment.
4. Make new friends.
Socializing takes a lot of energy, so Netflix for the win.
5. Find love.
I think it's time to finally come to the conclusion that we'll never have a New Year's Eve love story like Troy and Gabriella from High School Musical. *sigh*
6. Save money.
Let's be real, when it's pay day or when your parents deposit money into your bank account, you're going to make it rain.
7. Get all A's in your classes/make Dean's List.
Motivation slowly dies, sorry mom and dad.
8. Start drinking in moderation.
Um, maybe when there's no more stress in life.
9. Look more presentable for your classes.
"I have an 8 a.m. class, so please excuse my homeless look."
10. Stop procrastinating.
Your go-to excuse becomes, "Sorry, prof, but I had better things to do."
11. Get more sleep.
If only...
