With the holiday break quickly approaching, this will be the perfect time to catch up on Netflix shows you've been wanting to watch! If you're not sure where to get started, here are a few shows that you should binge-watch over break.

1. Bob's Burgers

Bob's Burgers is one of my favorite Netflix shows. If you haven't seen it, it is about a family trying to run a burger restaurant, but they have little success due to the competition across the street. The Belcher children, Tina, Gene, and Louise, have their own idea of helping which tends to be not so helpful.

2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

When Kimmy is rescued from the bunker she had been living in for over ten years, she moves to New York so she can try to have a normal life. Since Kimmy lacked social interaction for over ten years, she faces a few challenges, but her wit and determination help her navigate through life.

3. Freaks and Geeks

There is only one season, and I'm still a little salty about it. Freaks and Geeks narrates the awkward time of adolescence, with humor that is needed through that awkward stage of life.

4. Jane the Virgin

Jane is pregnant, but here's the thing, she has never had sex. If you haven't watched this show, you really are missing out!

5. Arrested Development

Arrested Development is basically the embodiment of awkward laughter. The Bluth family is very dysfunctional, but for anyone watching this show, it is very entertaining dysfunction.

6. New Girl

Nick Miller, Schmidt, and Winston are my favorite parts of this show. Even if you've seen it before, it is still a great show to re-watch!

7. Stranger Things

WATCH IT! Stranger Things is this whirlwind adventure, and in my opinion, it is one of the best Netflix originals I have watched.

8. Parks and Recreation

Parks and Rec follows the crazy shenanigans that take place, in order to help make Pawnee, Indiana a better place!

9. Criminal Minds

If you're into thrillers, Criminal Minds is definitely worth the watch.

10. Law and Order: SVU

If you're not feeling Criminal Minds, SVU is always a great option! Only recent seasons are on Netflix which is a bummer, but you should still check them out!

11. Fuller House

It's the Full House reboot we were waiting for! The second season is out on Netflix, so get on that!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
