There are a ton of great movies coming out this summer, and everything from romantic comedies to superhero showdowns will be gracing the screen. Here are 11 movies you should make it a point to see.

1. "The Jungle Book" (In Theaters Now)

This live action rendition of "The Jungle Book" looks amazing. It features the voices of Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'o and more as Mowgli's jungle friends.

2. "Captain America: Civil War" (Out May 6)

Marvel's "Avengers" saga continues with the third Captain America movie. This one features several other of the Avengers, including Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) who clashes with Cap (Chris Evans) over the amount of power they and their other super friends hold.

3. "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" (Out May 20)

Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and James Franco return for a sequel to the 2014 comedy "Neighbors." This time, the guys are battling it out against a sorority, and the addition of characters played by Selena Gomez and Chloë Grace Moretz make it that much more interesting.

4. "Alice Through the Looking Glass" (Out May 27)

Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway head back down the rabbit hole to Wonderland for a sequel to the live action "Alice in Wonderland." It will also feature the voice of the late Alan Rickman.

5. "X-Men: Apocalypse" (Out May 27)

Marvel is back at it again with the X-Men. This cast is packed with familiar names such as Jennifer Lawrence, Sophie Turner and Evan Peters.

6. "Me Before You" (Out June 3)

"Game of Thrones" Emilia Clarke and "The Hunger Games" Sam Claflin star in the romance movie of the summer. The trailer induces tears, so I can only imagine what the movie will do.

7. "Finding Dory" (Out June 17)

While no one is as excited for this as Ellen DeGeneres, we can all be pretty excited, too. Our childhood fish friends are back on the screen in the sequel to "Finding Nemo."

8. "The Legend of Tarzan" (Out July 1)

Another cartoon classic is brought to the screen in live action, only this is a little more intense than the Disney rendition. It stars Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan and Margot Robbie as Jane.

9. "The Secret Life of Pets" (Out July 8)

Featuring the voices of Kevin Hart, Louis C.K. and more, this animated movie by the makers of "Despicable Me" show just what our pets are up to when we're not home. And no, we aren't too old to see it.

10. "Café Society" (Out July 15)

This romantic comedy set in the 1930s tells the story of a young man (played by Jesse Eisenberg) who moves to Hollywood to pursue a career in the film industry. It features other major film stars like Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart and Steve Carell.

11. "Suicide Squad" (Out August 5)

Batman's villains unite. If that isn't enough to convince you, just watch the trailer and thank me later.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
