There's no question that money is valuable and should be spent wisely. There are bills to pay, groceries to buy, and perhaps a college tuition to cover as well. With that in mind, you have to be careful when managing your wallet.
If you have ever watched "Spongebob Squarepants" (I'm almost 20 years old and I'm proud to admit that I still watch it sometimes), you know that Mr. Krabs is obsessed with money. He must be able to relate to these situations!
1. It's pay day and you see your boss with your check.
When you see your boss at work on pay day, there is only one thing you want.
2. Your check has been deposited into your bank account.
You now have more than just one zero in your balance!
3. You just got called into work.
Some people may not like getting called into work on their day off, but this means extra money!
4. You're actually saving your money.
As you get older, it may become more difficult to save your money as you have more to pay for, so having a little extra money is always a good feeling.
5. Ugh, those darn ATM fees.
When you use an ATM, you always try to avoid using a machine that is not from your bank to avoid that hefty two or three dollar fee.
6. Your friend complains that they are broke.
You would like to help, but all you can do is play the world's tiniest violin.
7. You're almost out of money and pay day is not until next week.
Maybe you shouldn't have gone out to dinner and bought that outfit right after you got paid.
8. You find a dollar bill on the ground.
To whoever dropped their dollar bill -- I'm sorry, but you're not getting it back.
9. The bills are due.
10. You don't know what to spend your money on when going shopping.
Let's hope that your wallet isn't empty when you leave the mall.
11. You find out that you overdrew your checking account.
Uh oh. You thought you had enough money in your account when you were buying something. Now you have pay off what you owe, plus a possible $35 fee (that you may not even have) for overdrawing your account.
