In case you've been living under a rock, "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" is one of Netflix's newest hits. It's a comedy created by Tina Fey about a girl named Kimmy, who after being captured and held in an underground bunker for 15 years is set free and begins a new life in New York City. I began watching "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" last year a few weeks after it came out on Netflix and finished it in only a few days. Once I finished the first season, I was horrified to discover I'd have to wait until April of 2016 to see more from my new favorite characters. The second season is finally out on Netflix, and as soon as it popped up on April 15th I began watching right where I left off last spring. This season is bigger and better than ever so major SPOILER ALERT to anyone who hasn't watched yet because I'm going to list 11 of the best moments from season 2 of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."
1. When Kimmy tries to help Gretchen think for herself.
Turns out Gretchen doesn't make great decisions on her own.
2. When Kimmy realized she had a problem after hitting Billy Eichner in this awesome cameo.
It was only a matter of where and when Kimmy was bound to run into the loud and in-your-face comedian.
3. Jacqueline's feud with Deirdre Robespierre, played by the hilarious Anna Camp.
It's the battle of the trophy wives and Deirdre is way too smart to live a life devoid of competition. She's definitely one of my favorite new characters from this season. I can't wait to see what she gets up to in season 3.
4. When Titus decides he can't deal with relationships or love.
Titus never ceases with the drama.
5. When Jacquline decides to give Buckley drugs to calm him down and we get this joke aimed at the over-medication of children.
The name of the drug is called Dzyiplen and it makes Buckley and Jacquline turn into complete zombies.
6. Kimmy's attempts at reconnecting with Dong through her missing scrunchie.
Smooth moves, Kimmy.
7. When Lillian tried to defend her neighborhood from being overtaken by hipsters.
The hipsters only take over even more after this question.
8. Tina Fey as Kimmy's therapist.
Tina is going to be playing a different character every season, but she played "drunk therapist" so well it's sad to see this one go.
9. Kimmy's first Christmas outside of the bunker.
Titus learns the true meaning of Christmas.
10. When Kimmy finally meets her mom and finds out they have a lot in common.
Lisa Kudrow was the perfect casting choice for Kimmy's mom; their scenes together are the perfect blend of heartfelt and hilarious.
11. The moment when Kimmy confronts a childhood icon for the first time at Universal.
Cheese Businessman is really popular with the kids nowadays.
"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" season 2 is available to stream on Netflix now, so what are you waiting for?
