College is a whirlwind of a time, and who better to showcase the good, the bad, and the ugly other than Leslie Knope and her clan?

1. Free food on campus:

There are fewer things that college students live for other than free food. It could be the weirdest, most obscure event--a rally for vegans supporting rabbits' rights-- as long as you throw in some free grub, i'm there.

2. Finishing an essay due that day:

I'd like to thank the three RedBulls, multiple google searches, and the one loving professor who swore this paper couldn't be written the night before. Challenge accepted.

3. Sunday mornings:

Yes, I am wearing sunglasses inside and no, I do not care about your judgement. For the sake of the pounding in my head, somebody please get me a glass of water and bottle of ibuprofen, stat.

4. Expecting to get an A, but getting way, way less:

This is some B.S. I spent a solid chunk of what could have been Netflix-time in the library working on this project, and this is what I get? I honestly think the professor just has something against me as a person.

5. When that one failed Tinder date just will not leave you alone:

It was coffee one time, and it was SO AWKWARD. Please take the hints. Please leave me alone. Please forget I ever swiped right.

6. Surprise pep-rallies in the middle of campus:

Who are all these people? Why is it so loud? We have a cheer leading squad? Is there any free food?

7. Accepting a freshman into your group:

C'mon, little one. We'll show you the ropes from here. Prepare to have the best time of your life.

8. Group projects:

There is always that one person who never does any of the work, ever. If you are that person, you are the worst and I hope that your coffee is shitty. Every morning.

9. Laundry:

It's a constant debate between wanting clean clothes and having enough money to eat. How many times can I wear this shirt without washing it before it becomes too noticeable?

10. Actually figuring out your major:

It's been a long road here, filled with many pointless classes, but I think I may have found the thing I wouldn't totally hate doing for the rest of my life!

11. When you finally make it through Finals Week:

Did you do it? Yes. Was it the best effort you could have given? Probably not. Are you still alive? Still kind of unsure. But hey, you did it. Get out there and treat yo'self.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
