One of my favorite things about the Christmas season are all the Christmas movies that come on. I personally have a weakness for those super sappy Hallmark movies. They are everything a hopeless romantic could dream of and I just so happen to be one of those hopeless romantics. So for my fellow love-at-first-sight believers this list is for you!

1. A Princess for Christmas.

This is one of the movies that my sisters and I watch every year. It is one of those movies that is just a great feel good movie and it doesn't hurt that there just so happens to be a prince involved!

2. A December Bride.

This one aired this year and it's already one of my favorites! I mean wouldn't having a December wedding be just the most magical thing ever?!?

3. Best Christmas Party Ever.

Wanting to be left in charge after her boss retires, Jennie is throwing the best Christmas party ever but when her boss's nephew, Nick, shows up will Jennie allow herself to love this season or is it going to be all about work??

4. Christmas in Homestead.

Love triangles are just the best, aren't they? Famous actress, celebrity ex-boyfriend and a hometown local man. Which one will she choose??

5. The Ultimate Gift.

Talk about a heart warming movie!! This one is a great one to watch with your family or if you just need a good soul cleansing cry.

6. Snow Bride.

Getting stranded in the middle of nowhere could just be the best thing to ever happen to you.

7. Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Combine food, a parade celebrating food and our ancestors, Santa Claus, and love and you've got yourself a great Hallmark movie.

8. Christmas in the City.

This one is actually a Lifetime movie but I'll still count it. This was one of my very first sappy Christmas movies that was like a "grown up" lovey dovey movie. And I LOVED it!

9. A Bride for Christmas.

Ex-fiances, charming new guys, and a bet. What more could you ask for?

10. A Country Wedding.

Now, this one may not be the most "Christmasy" but it's still a great one. Country superstar comes home to prepare for his upcoming wedding when he bumps into his old flame. Will he continue on the path that's been set for him or will sparks fly and rekindle a relationship between the cowboy and the southern belle??

11. A Royal Christmas.

When a seamstress finds out that her boyfriend, that she's madly in love with, is actually a Prince who's mother doesn't approve of their relationship will she go with him and live happily ever after or will it all be too much??

There are so many wonderful holiday movies that honestly I watch them all year long, not just at Christmas time. Because sometimes you just need a sappy, cheesy, romantic pick-me-up with a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
