Summer has come and here are some ideas that would help make your summer one to remember! See how many you can check off before we all head back to college in August!
1. Hit up those local food trucks!
Nothing is more tasty then a fresh taco, burrito, funnel cake or something completely out of the box!
2. Go camping!
Camping has always been many peoples favorite outdoor adventure. If you are not the out doors kind of person, take a chance and give it a whirl. Spending time with friends and family out in nature is a sure place to make new memories.
3. How many waterfalls can you find in one week?
Waterfalls are scattered all over the states! Grab a group of friends, pack a lunch and see how many you can find! Go explore and jump in the water on a hot summer day!
4. Bonfires, bonfires, bonfires.
Nothing is better then a cool summer night sitting by the fire with a close group of friends. S'mores, Laughs and many memories are one way to have a great night.
5. Paddle board and Kayak.
Paddle boarding and Kayaking are a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. Suit up, grab a lifejacket and hit the water! Some people may take a little while to get the hang of it, but relaxing out on the lake or river is a sure way to have a fun day!
6. Take a beach trip!
If its with your friends or family, a beach trip is a great way to spend quality time with the people you love. Travel to the East Coast, West Coast or the Gulf, The hot summer sun with be waiting for you!
7. Try something new!
There are so many new opportunities out there in the world. Summer time is a great time to branch out and experience one of them! It may be cutting your hair, bungee jumping, swimming with sharks, or even just getting a new job. Opportunities are calling our name.
8. Drive-in movies.
If you live in a town and are lucky enough to be near one, grab a group of friends and venture out for a fun movie under the stars. If you aren’t so lucky to have one in your town, why not make one of your own?
9. Theme parks.
Some people may not be a big fan of fast moving rides, but if you are, theme parks are a definite must for some summer fun.
10. Road trips.
What is more fun then a car jammed packed with your closest friends, driving down the highway or backroads blasting the latest hot music or the classic country album. This one will for sure be a highlight.
11. Just spend time with your friends.
Not all of your friends go to the same college. Many have not even seen each other in months. Take the time you have to make this summer one to remember. You don’t know the next time everyone is going to be back in the same place.
