Some of us love it, some of us hate it, but Syllabus Week is inevitable for anyone in college. There's a lot to readjust to when you're returning after winter break and not all of it is fun. Here's a list of some of the feelings that we all face during the emotional roller coaster that is Syllabus Week.
1. Exhaustion And The Realization That Staying Up Until 2:00 In The Morning For All Of Break Is Not Conducive For Morning Classes
2. Excitement For New Classes, New Professors, And New Adventures
3. Cold, Very Cold
Winter is awful, classrooms are never heated, and, yes, you should've worn the fleece leggings.
4. Happiness From Seeing The Friends Who You Missed Over Break
5. Irritation Towards People In General
It's mostly towards the person who's asking about the professor's policies.
6. Hope That A Cute Person Will Be In One Of Your Classes
7. Let Down From The Realization That You'll Be Too Nervous To Do Anything But Smile When They Pass Papers Back To You
8. Betrayal When Your Professors Clearly Don't Follow The Rules Of Syllabus Week And They Give You Homework
9. Stress About Going Out With Your Friends When You Have A Class In The Morning
10. Relief Because It's Finally The Weekend
11. Exhaustion, Again, Because You're Going To Have To Do It All Again Next Week
Good luck!
