11 Best Things About The Fall Season
Six Different Ways Blog

The fall season is finally upon us; the air is getting cooler, it's getting darker earlier, and everyone is digging out their comfy sweaters. There are many reasons to love the fall season, but here are the top ones.

1. Snuggling up in front of a fireplace with a warm blanket.

It's also the perfect time to wear your favorite cozy, festive socks!

2. Wearing huge comfy sweaters all day everyday.

You may not look as cute as this puppy, but pair your sweater with your fav pair of boots and you're set!

3. Binge watching Halloween movies.

You can never watch Halloweentown too many times, am I right?

4. Decorating for Halloween.

Nothing like getting in the festive spirit! #housegoals

5. Indulging on Halloween treats.

It's super fun to be creative when making festive treats.

6. Leaves changing color.

Not only is it beautiful, but it's also aesthetically pleasing.

7. Haunted hayrides.

If you like being scared, grab a few friends and go on a haunted hayride- you're guaranteed to have a few laughs (or tears).

8. Pumpkin spice flavored EVERYTHIIIING.

This may have gone overboard, but then again, can you really ever have too much pumpkin spice?

9. Pumpkin patches.

Going pumpkin picking is especially fun because you can make a whole festive, fun filled day out of it with friends and family.

10. The temperature not being too hot or cold.

This is a great outlook on the fall season; new beginnings can happen any time you need them.

11. Drinking 10 cups of hot chocolate everyday.

...And overloading it with marshmallows because it's freakin delicious.

12. Fall scented candles.

Every scent literally smells like heaven and I can NEVER leave Bath and Body Works without buying 10 of them.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
