Jessica Copestick

My name is Jessica Copestick and I am a junior at Philadelphia University, and my major is psychology. Although I love the field of psychology, I'd love to get into the field of writing. Writing is my passion. It's the one thing that I know I'm good at, and something I love doing, whether it's creative writing or writing a more analytical paper for one of my classes. I had a creative writing class at my school, and it was then that I realized I would love to have some sort of a job in the writing field in the future. The Odyssey attracted me because I felt it would be a great place to start my pursuit of writing, and also a great place to share my thoughts on different topics to the public. In addition, I've always thought that posting articles for a website, would be a great opportunity for me to strengthen my writing talents and open up more doors for me. I've always been fascinated by social media and the impact it has on society, and I think the Odyssey has truly had an impact, and more and more people are becoming familiar with it, which will even further increase its impact. I believe The Odyssey would be the first step in achieving my goal of becoming a professional writer one day.
