Every girl, no matter if you are girly, earthy, a tomboy, or in between, here is my list of 11 things that each girl should have in their closets.
1. Little Black Dress:
A little black dress is a timeless staple that comes in a wide variety of different lengths, styles and cuts that will suit anyone of all shapes and sizes.
2. Neutral Cardigan:
I have recently been obsessed with cardigans and a neutral color like this one goes with just about everything.
3. Black Heels:
A pair of good black heels is just like having a little black dress. It goes with everything, it can be dressed up, or be in use for your professional days and there are tons of styles to choose from.
4. A Good Pair of Sandals:
There are going to be those casual days, and trust me, I love those days as well. But if you are the outdoorsy-type, or just want a good quality pair of sandals, Chacos and other types of sandals are perfect too!
5. Wedges:
Wedges are so great for when you are going to graduations, want something to go with your dress, jeans/pants, or you just want to feel tall!
6. Suit Attire for Professional Days:
A suit is a must! Especially for interviews, internships, or professional reasons! Depending on what type of "lady" you are, suits are versatile and can be worn with a pair of pants, or a skirt!
7. Boots:
My favorite season is Fall, so that means riding boots! In some areas, boots are essential to brave the elements and is a must-have. What's good about boots is that they come in different neutral colors and lengths to choose from!
8: Rain Boots:
In some areas, rain is the norm, so having a good pair of rain boots is a must also! I've had trouble with some boots that end up being soaked when I have to walk through puddles, but rain boots save the day!
9. A Good Pair of Jeans:
Jeans are a must in every day life, so having a pair that you just love is a keep-sake!
10. Flats:
Flats are so great, if you don't like heels, or need some cushion for your feet. And the best part is the variety of colors, styles, or prints that you can choose from!
11. Winter Coat:
A good fashion investment is definitely a good winter coat! You'll need one that will keep you warm and one that you can use often.
This list is just the few essentials that over the seasons and years that I have came to find out that saves you time, is timeless, and lets you look great no matter the elements or occasion!
