I'm sure we can all remember sitting in front of the TV to catch a glimpse of your childhood celebrity crush. All of a sudden you're hanging posters of them on your wall and dreaming about meeting them.

As you grow your celebrity crushes change and evolve, even though you will always have a soft spot for the first person that made your heart leap whenever they appeared. So I am going to share with you 11 of my celebrity crushes and why, starting with the first and ending with the latest.

1. Drake Bell

Drake Bell was my first crush ever, I didn't realize how much I loved him until I found an old notebook and in it I found a drawing of me and him getting married. "Drake and Josh" was a great show and I thought Drake was funny and cute and stupid in the best way.

2. Nick Jonas

Oh, this brings me back, I fell in love with Nick Jonas while watching Disney Channel. The "Year 3000" music video came on and I couldn't help but stare at the beautiful curly haired boy playing guitar and singing his heart out. It was the way he sang and the face that he would make along with his adorable quiet but goofy personality that made me think I would one day marry him. I hung up posters and bought the "Jonas Brothers" CDs waiting for him to magically appear at my door.

3. Ricky Ullman aka Phil from "Phil Of The Future"

"Phil Of The Future" was one of my favorite shows but I didn't always have a crush on Phil. It just kind of happened really quickly. I was watching Disney Channel and he did one of those interview things and all of a sudden I was like "Woah he's cute" and the rest is history. After that, I would watch the show all the time and hope for a cute goofy guy like Phil to come into my life.

4. Demi Lovato

"Sonny With A Chance" was my absolute favorite Disney Channel show ever and I fell in love with Demi Lovato. I thought she was beautiful and funny and real and genuine and all I wanted was to meet her and become her best friend (and maybe more...*wink* *wink*).

Anyway it was love at first sight. When the show was canceled I was so sad but when I found out that she was struggling with mental health issues I immediately loved her more and listened to all her music. I still have a huge crush on her and think she is truly amazing.

5. Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was the first person to teach me about how a song can make you feel so many things. She also made having curly hair cool which made me happy because I have curly hair. So I fell in love with her as soon as I saw the "Teardrops On My Guitar" music video and still love her now.

6. Justin Bieber

Yes...I was a Belieber. For a short time in my life, this baby singing boy had my heart and I was convinced that if we met he would fall madly in love and we would be together. Again this didn't last long, but for that year I would listen to his songs on repeat and be jealous of the girls in his music videos.

7. Johnny Depp

During these years I discovered the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies and immediately fell for the strange pirate named Captain Jack Sparrow. After that, I went on a binge of Johnny Depp movies and even though he was way older than me I would dream of meeting him and becoming best friends who occasionally kiss and stuff. Anyway, Johnny Depp will forever have my heart because age is just a number...right?

8. Jimmy Fallon

Oh god, this adorable human being is too good for this cold cruel world. I instantly fell in love with Jimmy when I started watching old Saturday Night Live videos and when he would crack or make stupid jokes my heart would leap. He is so goofy and genuine and amazing and I will always love him. He deserves every good thing in the world, he makes me so happy just typing this I am smiling.

9. Kristen Wiig

Jimmy wasn't the only gem Saturday Night Live brought to my attention, I also found Kristen Wiig who is the love of my life and inspiration for everything. She is so funny and beautiful and down to earth, I want to hug her and be her best friend and marry her.

10. Harry Styles

Oh baby, honestly Harry Styles will probably be the only man I truly love and who ever I marry will have to be OK with that. I fell in love with Harry when I fell in love One Direction and I still love him to this day. He is so genuine and funny and amazing and his new album is beautiful. I just want to hug him for 30 years.

11. Chris Evans

Now, this is a man. As soon as I saw "Captain America: The First Avenger" I was in love with Chris Evans. I will probably always look for a man like him because he is funny, sweet, outgoing and also extremely handsome. How can you not love this man? LOOK AT THAT SMILE! Anyway Chris Evans is beautiful.

So there you go! I think this is really cool because you can see I clearly have a type and you can see my tastes evolve. So let me know a list of your celebrity crushes so I can learn more about you and maybe we have some of the same!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
