Are you looking for a new show to watch after just recently completing the last show you were just absolutely obsessed with? Many of us understand the feeling. Netflix is often times my best friend, joking aside. It's even been there to help me through tough situations. If you're as avid of a Netflix watcher as I am and are in need of a new show to stay up way too late watching, here are 11 of my favorites.

1. Dexter

In my opinion, one of the best shows Netflix offers. It's about a serial-killer, who works inside of Miami Metro's homicide department, that only kills other serial-killers. Every episode has you wanting to watch the next one directly after. Plus, it's starring Michael C. Hall, who is as attractive as ever. What's not to love?

2. Gossip Girl

All the drama is addicting, trust me. I promise you'll find yourself rooting for Blair and Chuck. And who doesn't love Blake Lively?

3. Grey's Anatomy

Everyone loves Grey's. That's nothing new. It's captivating, that's for sure. But, if you don't want to find yourself in a puddle of tears after every episode, then it might not be your best bet.

4. Lost

Lost has such a unique storyline, and the well-thought out suspense makes it impossible to just watch one episode at a time. And I dare you not to cry during the finale.

5. The Office

Arguably one of the funniest shows out there. I haven't met one person who doesn't think that The Office is hilarious. The one-liners are everyone's favorite and Michael Scott makes the show.

6. American Horror Story

Although it can be very grotesque at times, American Horror Story is one of the most addicting shows I have ever watched. It's impossible to guess what will happen next, and each season has a different, ominous, yet exceptional, theme. And most importantly, it has one of the best casts.

7. Orange is the New Black

A Netflix original about how an everyday woman gets herself a ticket to prison. The obstacles Piper and the inmates have to face really sheds a new light on life in prison. And some events really are jaw-dropping.

8. Friends

One of the most classic shows around. I remember watching some episodes when I was really young with my parents. There's nothing not to love about the characters, and everything that happens is completely relatable.

9. Breaking Bad

Probably the most badass show I've ever seen. A teacher who decides to make his living by cooking crystal meth. An obscure storyline. But one definitely recommended. It's impossible to just describe its greatness, rather you really would have to just witness it for yourself.

10. The Walking Dead

While some may believe the whole apocalypse deal is overdone, this show provides it all in a whole new perspective. Unbelievably action-packed and suspenseful, this show has a huge fan-base. And believe me, everyone's favorite is Daryl.

11. One Tree Hill

This show is my all-time favorite. One Tree Hill provides every possible element. And most importantly, offers essential life-lessons. Filming from high school to adult life in the "real world," I've learned more about life through One Tree Hill than anything else. It was my go-to during a rough patch in my life, and actually helped me a ton. Almost every episode left me in tears, whether they were tears of happiness or sorrow. And, the characters make you believe they're actually your friends too (I definitely wish they were). 10/10 would recommend.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
