There's a lot to see and do in Austin, Texas. Even people that have lived in the city for years still find awesome new adventures all the time. With its history, scenery and nightlife, it can be hard to narrow it down to what the must-do activities really are. To help, here are the top 11, according to the ratings of thousands of Austinites and tourists on TripAdvisor.com.

1. State Capitol

Review that sums it up best: I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my tour of the Capitol. I just walked into the building and joined a tour that was already in progress. No need to preplan or sign up in advance. The tour guide was informative. There was some great works of art. The historical fixtures and furniture was great to see.

2. Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail

Review that sums it up best: Great views and lots of activity here. Runners, walkers, dog walkers, pig walkers, children and much more to offer here. We even saw some dogs chasing balls while jumping into the lake.

3. LBJ Presidential Library

Review that sums it up best: This was like time travel through the political events of the 50's, 60's and 70's. I came out of it with enormous respect for LBJ and how much he contributed, from NPR, PBS, Civil Rights, Voting Rights, Head Start, anti-Poverty programs, etc. etc. It was fascinating to see how the Vietnam War affected him...

4. Bullock State History Museum

Review that sums it up best: I love to take all our visiting friends from outside Texas to tour the Bullock! I love the fact that you follow a timeline of Texas/American history as you tour!

5. Barton Springs Pool

Review that sums it up best: Barton Springs is so impressive to look at. When you get into the water it seems cold, but it is so refreshing and such a profound experience that I felt like I had taken a vacation in just an hour and 1/2 of being there. It is a very special place and I hope people will check it out.

6. The Driskill

Review that sums it up best: We visited the Driskill only to see the lovely interior and have a drink at the classic bar, but came away with a desire to return. It is class and beautiful. I would love to have a stay there sometime in the future.

7. Zilker Metropolitan Park

Review that sums it up best: Great park with lots to do. We only went here for our morning run which was a very nice winding mostly dirt path. Lots of people walking, running, biking, walking their dogs and lots of activity on the river. You could easily spend the day here.

8. Mount Bonnell

Review that sums it up best: Hiking up Mount Bonnell is an Austin tradition. The views of Austin to the east and Lake Austin to the west are unbeatable, as is the price -- it's free!

9. Town Lake

Review that sums it up best: Austin is a nice city, but thus feature makes it feel more friendly. You can run on the trail beside it, you can rent canoes and such to enjoy it directly. Highly recommended.

10. South Congress Avenue

Review that sums it up best: South Congress Street is an eclectic restaurant and shopping haven! There are so many different shops and food truck, etc to see that there's something for everyone here.

11. University of Texas at Austin

Review that sums it up best: Inspiration will follow you on your walk; check out the Cesar Chavez statue, the turtle pond, the LBJ Library, and much more.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
