As someone who is 4'11 there are certain questions I hear a lot from friends or even strangers. When we're out shopping, when we're hanging out, or even just walking around. So for everyone wondering yes I know i'm short, please don't ask me how much I weight or my height. Here are a few things I've compiled that people have said to me.

Yes I know I'm short and you can also see I'm short. Why does my height matter and why do you need to ask?

Yes I can wear kids clothes. While you're wearing a $150 Columbia jacket, I'm wearing the same one for $60 less.

Just because I'm shorter than you doesn't mean you're tall FYI

Wow that's great! I bet you have average size parents, I don't!

But if I asked you how much you weighed you'd be offended. So why is it okay if you ask me??

No you can't I'm a person not a doll thank you.

Yeah sure I'd love to be squished in the middle.

Do the math, you're 5"7 so you're 8 inches taller, that's great why do you need me to stand up for that.

Yeah I probably can, doesn't mean I want to nor will I.
