If anyone knows me, they know that once I start watching one episode of a TV show on Netflix, it’s hard to get me to stop. This semester, I have been busier than I have ever been. Between working 20 hours a week, taking 6 classes, writing for The Odyssey, and trying to find time for my family and friends, the last thing I needed to do was get hooked on a new show on Netflix. And that’s exactly what I did. I started watching The Office, and couldn’t stop. I catch myself staying awake until 1:00AM just so I can get my daily fix of Michael Scott and his questionable humor. So, if you're like me and have way too much going on this semester, but still have to find the time to sit down and binge an episode (or 10) of your favorite show, here are 10 ways that The Office has perfectly described this semester for me.

1. When it sinks in that there are still 7 weeks until Finals Week, and you're so over your classes for this semester, so you just want to quit now while you're (somewhat) ahead.

2. You start to write out your 'To Do' list for the week, and it seems like each week it keeps gets longer and longer.

3. When you have one night off during the week, so you want to cram in everything fun before four more days of Hell commence.

4. Since it's past the midpoint of the semester, all the material you're learning in class is getting harder and harder, and you just can't keep up.

5. When you finally make it through a long week of class and have a slight break in your schedule just to relax, or spend it doing stupid stuff with your friends.

6. Even though Christmas break might feel like an eternity away, you realize you only have 3 more Fridays to reach until Thanksgiving break is here (which means 9 whole days of napping, Netflix, and food).

7. The biggest struggle being at school is the feeling that you're letting your pet dog down. You feel like they think you don't care about them anymore, but, in reality, all you want is to sneak them into the dorms just to cuddle. So, you just make your mom turn the camera on your dog when you're FaceTiming home just so they know we still remember them and love them.

8. When you've worked every Friday and Saturday for the whole entire semester, then you are finally rewarded with a full weekend off.

9. When people tell you that it's time to start thinking about classes for the upcoming semester, signing a lease for next year, an internship for next summer...

10. But, even after all the stress, this semester has caused, you know you're going to make it out alive. It might have been rough, but everything is going to work out in the end.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
