10 Underrated Disney Movies
Disney Wiki

As kids, we grow up watching Disney movies. Between the princess movies and Pixar, there are so many movies that fly under the radar and are not appreciated by the non-Disnerds. They considered to be "underrated." So, no, "Frozen" and "Toy Story" will not be on this list because of their popularity. I polled a group of Disnerds that gave their opinions on what they believed were the most underrated Disney movies of all time. These will be in no particular order, except for the first three, which received the most votes out of all of the movies mentioned.

1. "Meet The Robinsons"

"Meet The Robinsons" was one of the best movies I have ever seen. This received an overwhelming amount of votes, and deservingly so. When I first watched it when I was little, I liked it. But then I watched it as an adult and I found myself crying. I will not spoil the ending for those who haven't seen it, but everyone should watch this movie.

2. "Emperor's New Groove"

"Emperor's New Groove" is probably one of the funniest Disney movies. I find that many people can just quote this movie until the end of time because of how funny it is.

3. "Atlantis: The Lost Empire"

This movie is very dark, but also very good. It is definitely a movie that is worth watching. It is about discovery, both in the world and in yourself.

4. "Hunchback Of Notre Dame"

This movie is the one that received my vote for most underrated. This is the movie that we watch as kids and find it super scary and dark and you don't really know what is going on. Then we watch it as adults and we are blown away. This movie is so good and is definitely one of my favorites. (Plus it is a live show now and it is awesome.)

5. "A Goofy Movie"

This movie is really fun; it has great songs, a great plot and includes everyone's favorite two-legged dog and his son Max! Another great film that is virtually overlooked completely.

6. "Treasure Planet"

Disney went through a phase of making really dark movies, and this is another one that is a fun adventure and definitely worth the watch.

7. "Oliver and Company"

I am a little obsessed with this movie. It really is such a good movie, and has one of the best songs in Disney history included in it. This is another super fun movie about dogs that sing, so what's not to love?

8. "Hercules"

This is personally my favorite movie because of the music and one of my favorite villains. "Hercules" is another hysterical Disney movie in the Renaissance period and "I Won't Say I'm in Love" with this movie...but I am.

9. "Brother Bear"

My explanation of this movie is simple: "Frozen" meets "Brave." You're welcome.

10. "The Great Mouse Detective"

This movie is fun and adventurous. It's based on Sherlock Holmes! It can get a bit scary but mostly is great fun. Plus you hear mice speak in English accents, so it's great!

I hope this list will give you a few more movies to watch instead of being stuck singing "Let it Go" for hours on end! Enjoy!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
