TV shows are what we look forward to watching in our free time. We fall in love with characters and romantic pairings. There is the villain that we all love to hate and the hero we cheer for.

Anyone can find something to watch because there is so much offered on a variety of apps or channels. If you cannot find anything to watch try one these ten shows. A few of them may be a little older, but the storylines are still engaging and never grow old.

1. Angel

Angel the vampire with a soul gets his own spinoff. If you like the supernatural and romance involving vampires, here is a show for you. Yes, it is older but still worth the watch.

2. Greys Anatomy

Doctors, surgeries, and McDreamy OH MY! This famous show has 14 seasons; there is no way you will run out of episodes to watch.

3. Criminal Minds

Who would not want to watch a team of highly intelligent and brilliant profilers catch some of the worst guys around?

4. Sherlock


Everyone has heard of Sherlock Holmes, but have they watched this modern version of a classic tale. Benedict Cumberbatch plays a great Sherlock and Moriarty is excellent, too.

5. Supernatural

Two brothers against the world. Supernatural is worth watching for Sam and Dean Winchesters brotherly bond. They would and have died for each other; they live in a world where they must save the world while fighting angels, demons, and more.

6. The Fosters

Just yes.

7. Once Upon A Time

A spin on some of our favorite stories. This show remixes everything from Snow White to Frankenstein. How can you not want to take a peek at a couple episodes?

8. The Originals

I know some of us watched the vampires diaries and that is where we first discovered Niklaus and his family. Well, there is so much more of them in the Originals and it is worth the watch.

9. The Walking Dead

Survival gets a lot harder when you wake up all alone in a world of zombies. This show is already so popular. Why not add it to the list? There is bound to be something or someone you will love on this show.

10. The Flash

Who does not love when your favorite superheroes get their own TV series? We get to follow Barry while he has to fight bad guys and keep his identity a secret.

I hope some of these shows make you want to run to your TV and start watching them right now.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
