When "hey I made brunch reservations, are you free to come?" become your most favorite words, I think it's pretty safe to say that you are a foodie. That's right, the picture taking, restaurant researching, food loving individual that spends the majority of their time seeking out new places to go, only to hopefully find good food. We live by the motto of life being too short to eat food that is only mediocre, because food to us is so much more. Throughout my life I have found myself surrounded by foodies, and in turn have become one myself and I wouldn't have it any other way. All of us possess similar habits that are essential to the foodie lifestyle, even if they annoy anyone who isn't used to going out to eat with us.
1. If you try and eat before we take pictures of the food we ordered, you'll most definitely lose a limb.

Listen, I am not above stabbing you with my fork if you get between me and a good Instagram post of my food.
2. Our restaurant lists are not only extensive, but often times in alphabetical order and color coded by city.

If you ask for a restaurant recommendation I am more than happy to help you out with that, but realize I'll send you about four different lists for different meals of the day, different cities, and different price ranges.
3. Brunch is a sacred meal.

I would say roughly 80% of foodies will agree with me when I say that not only is brunch the most important meal there is, but also it's the best time to catch up with friends and eat some of the best food out there.
4. We will drop $50.00 for dinner on ourselves without even an ounce of guilt.

Good food is expensive, but once in a while you just got to treat yourself.
5. It actually causes us physical pain when we go to a chain restaurant on vacation.

Ok yeah Outback is great and all but we can get that anywhere anytime, we'd much rather got to those places that you can't go to everyday.
6. We'll try just about any food you put in front of us

After we take a picture of it, of course.
7. We really like food pictures.... like realllllly like food pictures.

Yeah my Facebook albums and camera rolls and filled with food pictures, like I'm serious I have more pictures of my food than I do of my family.
8. Even if we hate coffee, we know all the different coffee drinks you can get at a typical coffee shop.

I love most coffee, but for the drinks I don't like I can still tell you the milk to espresso ratio, how the drink is made and where to get the best coffee based on what your favorite drink is.
9. Our Instagrams consist of one picture of ourselves then about 12 food pictures, then a picture of ourselves and another 15 food pictures.
10. If you share your favorite food places with us, we'll cry tears of joy.

I mean you literally just gave us the best gift you possibly could, by sharing food that is important to you with us.
