Cats are a really important part of a person's life, especially when said person is a college girl living in a dorm, constantly surrounded by people, with a lack of any furry creature in sight. Sometimes, when I have a bad day I go on Pinterest and look up funny cat pictures (this is much better than looking up how to make a three layer cake for you best friend's birthday because looking up cat pictures won't destroy your kitchen and leave you with a sub par cake). Anyone that knows me well knows that I love my cats at home. I have been called a cat lady before, and, strangely, enough I'm okay with it. Why? Who wouldn't want to have some of the sassiest creatures that walk this Earth? If I still haven't convinced you that cats are awesome, here is some proof why cats are better than people.
1. They won't judge you for being lazy. If anything, they'll join in on the fun.
2. They understand that you occasionally like to have pizza at 2 a.m. while putting off doing homework. Will they harp you about having a fourth meal instead of doing homework? Nope, not as long as they get a piece of pizza, too.
3. They are so fun to watch and take pictures of when you're bored.
4. They love to cuddle with you.
5. On the subject of cuddling, they never fail to wake you up in the most entertaining ways.
6. They don't need a couch to feel comfortable, a box will do just fine for them.
7. They are easily entertained even when you are not around.
8. They're just as weird as you are.
9. You can put them in cute poses and they will only give you a harsh look, rather than complain about it.
10. They look cuter than you do when you dress them up in cute clothes.
