I've been on my fair share of road trips, whether it be 21 hours to Ohio or nine hours to get home from Lubbock. I've gotten used to kicking my feet up and relaxing for hours on end, squished between bags of luggage and people.
Going to college nine hours away from your hometown means that two days of your break are for traveling: Driving home and driving back. I just recently got home from spring break and realized many people may not get to experience what it is like to drive for hours on end. So here are 10 thoughts you have driving home:
1. "____ hours isn't going to be bad at all."
*Three hours in*
2. "Thank goodness for 75 MPH speed limits."
3. "Are We There Yet?"
4. "It's not my turn to drive. Maybe if I close my eyes for just a little bit."
5. "Oh gosh, I need to pee."
6. "Hand me the aux cord"
7. "Do I really need to stop for gas or can I go just a little further?"
*When the gas light comes on*
