Finals week is not something most people look forward to. However, it does mean the ending of a semester of hard work. There are probably many thoughts running through your head while you are cramming for those exams, but here are ten that I bet are most common.
1. "I'm going to fail."
Yeah, this is generally the most common thought you'll have. But if you manage your time well and study for the necessary amount of time, you’ll hold your own!
2. "When did we learn this?"
It's so much fun when you're studying material from early in the semester and you don't remember any of it.... Thank God for review sessions and the text book.
3. "Whoever came up with this is stupid."
We've all had this thought at some point, most likely in a math course. What is that formula? Why would anyone think using these variables would make life easier?
4. "I will never, ever take a class like this again."
Yeah, at least taking the final means you’re done for good!
5. "When is break?"
We're almost there. We can do this!!
6. "This is the easiest class I have, I can probably pull this one off!"
Thank God for that one class that is just easier than the rest. It's always nice to have at least one exam that you know for a fact you can crush.
7. "There is one more exam standing in the way of me and vacation...bring it."
I love walking into that last class knowing that when this one exam is over, you're done and get to go home.
8. "Why am I up so late..."
We've all had that one class where you're up until some ungodly hour studying and studying and doing nothing else but studying. But hey, that's what finals week is all about right?
9. "Why does this final need to be a presentation?"
Presenting in front of a group of people may be one of the most common fears shared among people. Just remember, I doubt anyone is really paying attention, and everyone is just thinking about when they go.
10. "I will not have a life until my last exam is over."
Taking exams are important and it takes up a lot of time - much more time than any of us want to use up. However, its necessary and worth it when you see that you’ve done well.
