Having my first waitressing job this past Summer was such a great experience. There were definitely times that were better than others. These are the most common thoughts that went through my brain while waiting on tables.
Getting hit on by a man that is significantly older than me.
When the kitchen is taking a long time making your tables food and your table is getting cranky.
When you get to work on a Friday night and see that your name is on the closing shift.
When no one busses your table in the middle of a rush.
When you clock out of a double after nine hours of being there.
When a table won't believe that the restaurant is out of an item and asks you to double check.
When a table comes to a Mexican restaurant and tells you they don't like anything spicy.
When someone attractive sits down in your section.
Lastly, it all seems all worth it when you walk out with a wad of cash in your pocket.
