College is a time to make friends and achieve personal and professional growth. It's hard to imagine that four years of your life will go by so quickly, but it does happen. I am halfway through my undergraduate years, and I have mixed feelings.
1. Where did the time go?
Time flies when you’re having fun, and that’s exactly what’s happened to you over the past two years.
2. What do I want to do with my life?
Now can be the time where you start thinking critically about what you actually want to do with your life when you are done with college. Are you pursuing what makes you happy?
3. How has this much time passed?
Sometimes, it’s hard to believe how fast the years go by! Another two years, and you’ll be with hundreds or thousands of other students in a cap and gown.
4. Did high school go this fast?
I thought high school went by fast, but college is on a whole new level. Two years are already done, and it feels like I just started.
5. Will the next two years be this fast???
In two years, I’ll be graduating, and if the first two years went by THIS fast...how fast will the next two years go by?
6. What am I even going to do this summer?
This summer is a good time for an internship, a job, or to just really enjoy yourself. Maybe you can pick up a new hobby or try to do something new every week,
7. Next year I’ll be off campus, which means I have to start ‘adulting’...
Paying rent, buying groceries, and living a few minutes from campus... Is this what being an adult feels like?
8. No more community bathrooms!!!
After living on campus for two years, it seems likely that I’ll miss the community and closeness of being in the dorms. However, I will not miss those community bathrooms…
9. Does anyone else feel this way?
Am I the only one that’s kinda freaking out??? Or do other people feel this way too about being halfway done?
10. Wait, what do you mean I’m HALFWAY DONE?!
It’s hard to believe, but it’s the truth.
College can fly by, so make sure that you’re using your time wisely at your university. After all, we’re only in college once, so we need to make the best of it now!
