With Mother’s Day coming up soon, I thought I would write an ode to all the great Moms out there! You do so much for your children and we don’t say thank you enough, so here are some little things we should say thank you for more often.
- When we come home from college, after school sports, etc. and you have our favorite snacks in the pantry.
- The fact that you always call us to check up on us.
- When you make us a home cooked meal.
- The fact that you are willing to drop anything you’re doing to be there for us.
- You always want to take photos of us and share them on social media. (We may not be thanking you now but later on we will).
- You’re always our #1 fan. No matter what, you’re always cheering for us.
- You are always willing to take care of us when we’re sick.
- You think we are beautiful even when we have just woken up and haven’t showered.
- You encourage us to do our best and to try new things.
- Lastly, you gave birth to us! This is obviously the most important thing to give thanks to!
So this Mother’s Day, try to say thanks to your Mom for a few things she’s done for you over the years.
I would like to dedicate this article to my mother, Holly Koss. Thank you for being my best friend and my rock. I don’t know what I would do without you!!
