This doesn't mean go out and buy that gym membership. You can workout with basic exercises, weights and do simple cardio within the comfort of your own home.
2. Don't worry about what people say
People always talk. It's human and we can't do anything about it. We can however not let it get to us, but let it make us stronger in the end. Use their hateful words for your benefit.
3. Take chances
Taking chances is big. As we get older, we definitely need to do this. Applying for the job you're not sure you'll get or sparking up a conversation with someone new. You never know, you could get the job or a new best friend.
4. Try something new
Whether it is a new sport, different type of music, food or even club. Take the time to try it because in the end you may love it and the worse that could happen is you don't.
5. Travel more
Traveling is good for everyone. Go somewhere new that you always wanted to go to. Even go back somewhere you have been but loved it there. Traveling opens up the mind to new cultures but also relaxation which is good.
6. Take time for yourself
One day a week or once every two weeks, take a day to yourself. Whether it is reading a book, listening to music, watching a movie or just doing something you enjoy. This is good for you to just get away for a bit.
7. Spend time with your family and friends
Even though spending time alone is good, spending time with your family and close friends is good too. They are the ones you love and make you laugh in the end, which can lead to more happiness.
8. Smile more
Like people say, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. With more smiling you can try and be happier which in the end is more healthy for you and the people you're around. (It's infectious)
9. Take a road trip (doesn't have to be long if its with the right person/people)
Take a road trip with either your group of friends or just one friend. Go somewhere of distance or somewhere close. This can be fun with talks in the car, music and the destination in the end if there is one.
10. Save money
Finally, save money. This can be hard for people as we love to spend. Even putting a certain amount away from your paycheck can help. There is also the $5 challenge. Every $5 bill you get for this year, don't count it and put it away. This also applies to when you break larger bills or it get broken and you get a 5 back, save it. You will definitely be surprised at the end of the year with how much you saved. It adds up.
