10 Things You Learn From Watching 'Gossip Girl'

I am the girl who basically watches everything I can on Netflix, and I know I am not alone. Recently, my friends brought "Gossip Girl" to my attention, and after many months of me pushing it to the side, I have finally started and now ended the amazing saga of "Gossip Girl." I am and was addicted. Here is a list of things that "Gossip Girl" has taught us.

1. Blair and Serena are best friend goals!

Fighting is alright as long as it makes you stronger and grow together, and also if anyone messes with your best friend they should be ready for a smack down. S and B teach us that yes, it is OK to sometimes want to kill each other, but at the end of the day they always find their way back to one another.

2. Love grows over time.

Yes, in the beginning Chuck and Blaire were adorable (and we were all routing for them throughout the whole "Gossip Girl" saga, but you watch them grow over time. They learn to love each other, and then they learn how to use there love to take down any problem they are faced with. They fall out of touch for a while, but they always find there way back to one another. There love grows stronger every day, and honestly, more healthy and adorable everyday. If you don't make each other grow, let them go!

3. How to tell if he's the one: you can quite literally take on the world with one another (or at least feel like it).

You always have each others back and you're always always there for one another.

5. That money can buy happiness.

Or at least make living a whole lot easier especially if that living is on the Upper East Side.

6. You can be you with or without a boyfriend/girlfriend.

Even if you don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend you can still rock the world whether that is in fashion, schemes or life.

7. Nothing cures a broken anything like writing and shoving your face in some good food.

Now you can do this without feeling pathetic because even our golden girl Serena does it!

8. You truly understand the power of God when you find out that Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) is actually English blessed with that beautiful accent.

9. You learn a million different ways to insult someone if you just flip through the dictionary of Blair Waldorf, or simply watch any episode where Georgina runs into Blair.

10. If you have a couple amazing friends that stick by you through thick and thin, you really can accomplish (or get away with) anything you can set your mind to.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
