Everybody meets their best friend in college, and if you’re unlucky like me, they probably won’t live even remotely close to you. But, don’t you fret after all the long phone calls, text messages, and countless silly snapchats you’ll finally get to see her in the flesh when she comes to your home town.

Here are ten things you do when your best friend comes to visit you.

1. Hug Each other for approximately an hour before her car has even been turned off

After waiting outside for five minutes while you wait for her to pull into the driveway, you both come lunging for each other and giggle like nervous school girls because you can't believe the time has really come. YOU'RE TOGETHER!!!

2. Spend hours upon hours talking about all the things you missed and everything you plan to do

Even though you have spent all of your time texting each other you still spend hours talking about boys and everything you are going to when you get back to school in the fall.

3. Eat way too much

You are going to eat 8 meals a day and a snack every ten min. Don't fight it.

4. Spend all your life savings

Movies, restaurants, snacks, and shopping, duh.

5. Pretend you’re on vacation too

Go ahead and justify all the food you're eating and the money you're spending is because you're basically on vacation since she is here.

6. Introduce her to everyone who sees you

Every person you walk by will know that she is your best friend from college.

7. Take Her to all the best places in town

Plan your days to give her the best tourist vacation of all time

8. Cry over chick flicks

You finally have someone to go to the theatre with and cry with you rather than getting made fun of by your boyfriend.

9. Cry over the time coming to an end

It has been the shortest three days ever, and you are not even slightly prepared for her to leave again.

10. Rejoice because you have a friend worthy of crying for

Not everybody has a friend that they are able to share these special moments with. Embrace every memory and never lose touch.
